BoT Meet 2019/2020

Recommended Posts

So it seems nothing got planned this year. However I thought it worth asking if people wanted to try doing something this year (Maybe late August/September?) if not to start planning for next year (Would people prefer something early 2020 e.g. bottage).

Just wanted to see what people thought.

I still have a week or so leave to book so I am up for something this year and beginning of next. I am not sure if I will do a bottage but I am up for a more general meetup.

Yeah I did the 2017 meet and then went "fuck that someone else can do next one". Would be happy for a meetup anywhere that's not ludicrous to get to 😛

Kane always likes an excuse to go to London, so if something is planned I may try and line up coming down. No promises however as I'm starting a new job and I'm not sure what my schedule is like

I'd be up for something either this year (if practical) or next. cant fully commit as i have a few things up in the air at the moment but i'd be surprised if i cant attend.

We're most likely doing Florida (Disney) around October/November but not booked yet, Pretty sure we have enough holiday spare this year to add a day or two to a weekend some time but wouldn't want to commit to anything longer than that. Next year we could do pretty much anything. BoTtage was a lot of fun so definitely up for something along those lines again but well, I'm pretty sure I cannot be bothered to try organising that myself. :D

I'm potentially down in MK for two weeks mid-July, so London is easily doable. Otherwise, it's far too late for me to do anything until next year.

I'm in London at some point on business anyway in July, so I count potentially tie in then and get the company to pay for my travel.

August isn't ideal as I'm alrady away for a week then.

September and October generally fine but prefer to know in advance.

Pref not Nov / Dec as already have things planned.

If you guys are around for certain times can you give dates please.

My only fixed dates are WC 2nd August and 8-10 November.

Outwith those I have things, but those I can probably work around. I'm generally flexible.

Busiest time due to Mickey's not so scary and horror nights at universal in October, leading into the Christmas stuff all starting a week into November.

Not really. It's very variable across different days and certain weekends. There are websites that track all of this stuff. October is ultimately still term time so summer months are much busier during the week.

We may do September anyway, which is pretty much the quietest time of the year. Only problem is it's hurricane season! October was mostly as it was easier for our friends coming from Seattle, but now they most likely cent make it so we're more flexible.

None of this helps anyone plan BoTMeet anyway! But as soon as we have dates I'll post them here, or if there's a date here first then we'll work holiday around that.
