Aside from the 3 day early access to the game on launch, gold edition includes the above. Not sure if it's worth it or not. For me it's likely to depend on how hard it is to unlock the new specialists.

On Uplay points, Gaz is right. Let me know if there are achievements in Divi 1 I can help with.

For anyone trying to buy this using a 20% off code. If you try to buy through the Uplay launcher it will not work but the webstore accepts it no problem.

We have a guild. Get me to invite you when you're on, we need 4 people on the roster to actually unlock any of the guild perks, unfortunately. The Rose was the single only icon which was remotely plant or bottle related, unfortunately, so I went with that.

I'll be picking this up in just over a week. I tried it this weekend and it's got a lot of improvements over 1 so I'm willing to give it another shot.... Plus.. Anthem is not as fun as we hoped.

It's look like what would happen if the Greens and Labour merged.

My only lasting memory of the demo is that all playable character combinations look like men no matter which you pick. I'm still unclear if the second option was actually just "shorter stocky man"

This is so much for fun than Anthem. So much more fulfilling to play as well.

The side missions are so much better this time around. Not just the same mission in a different spot repeatedly.

UI is still garbage though. For example, the clan invite pops up on your screen at the top but you can't just accept it at that point. Nor does it tell you how to accept it. You have to go to the menu, click the little clan box on the left, select inbox from the three unnecessarily enormous menu buttons you're given and then you can accept it. Just rubbish design.

I would assume the invite Gaz sent to Loz is sat in his inbox but he'd never trip over it. It's hard enough to find when you're looking for it.

The UI is terrible. So many waste clicks and odd keyboard commands.

Sometimes I wish consoles would die and so UIs don't have to accomodate them anymore.

Another oddity I feel is the story. I swear the game has like 4 intro cinematics/scenes before you get dumped outside the white house. Almost as if they couldn't quite decide how to start the story off.

I mean, you can't even exit the game without quitting to character select (loading screen) then hitting quit. Ironically this one isn't even connected to console owners because most of the time you stop playing something on a console you just turn off the console.

Consoles do not cause bad UX on PC. Platforms can easily have their own menu system.  It's absolute laziness. The first game was awful for this as well.

Came to post this as well. I had 311 or something. You can spend 100 on a 20% off code that doesn't appear to have any kind of expiry but I could be wrong. If it does it's very well hidden.

There's some Division 2 stuff you can grab. A couple of outfits, some e-credits or whatever they're called, and a couple of different mat boxes. It doesn't really tell you what they are but whatever. I also got a couple of things for Rocksmith. Still have like 80 points to spend.

You can only claim each thing once, as far as I can tell.

Did people just buy the regular edition of this in the end? I obviously now have a discount code to use so I'm still considering it.

Yeah just noticed that. Not installed Farcry Primal yet but might has well claim some rewards for that they buy a discount code just in case.

I bought Ultimate. I'd decided I wanted the extra missions for Gold then saw Ultimate was only £9 due to a discount in the store which became only £7.20 more with the 20% coupon so I just went sod it and bought the top one.

The rifle they give you is god awful (bullet fires on trigger press and release but it kicks something chronic so you'll only ever hit with one of the two shots) but the shotgun is fun.

That said, editions don't stop people playing together as there are no game modes locked behind it.

I got the Gold because that was what I won but yeah, there's no difference in the actual content level you can access, except that non-Standard edtions get the Year One pass granting early access to the DLC and some unique "Classified Missions".
