Brynneth Report post Posted July 6, 2017 What I realise now might not be obvious from the screenshot, the reason I have the window stretched onto the second screen is because the application tiles are fixed-size and in fixed number rows. You would expect them to dynamically rearrange/resize to fit the screen, right? No. If I full-screen that Window it shows me 5 and a third tiles on the top row. Brynneth Report post Posted July 13, 2017 Nice! Southern Rail literally letting Work Experience Boy run their Twitter account: http://www.boredpanda.com/15-year-old-railways-twitter-spokesman-southernrail-eddie/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=BPFacebook Might as well have him run the whole fucking network, might do a better job. Nacey Report post Posted July 17, 2017 Have just been invited a talk named "Visual Storytelling in the Age of Algorithmic Narratives". I'm pretty sure these are words but I have no idea what they mean.
Nacey Report post Posted July 19, 2017 Code review comment of the week: Quote This links to the comment above about making it private. If there's another test that checks that something occurs with the mockedViewController I'd remove this test and privatise it like it's the NHS and you are a tory
Lagrosh Report post Posted July 19, 2017 I'm confused. It's a method that should be private except it's called by the test?

Sharp Report post Posted July 27, 2017 One of my clients wants to use ISDN2 for their new phone system (so moving from their super obsolete ISDN30 DASS to something obsolete)..... I have a worry that explaining Openreach's end of life plans will not change their mind.

Kryton Report post Posted January 12, 2018 Filling in a very complicated webform for my client and come across this. "Our records indicate we paid you £x this year. If you agree with this figure enter £0 in the next box. If you disagree, enter the amount you received." My records indicate the client received nothing so what do I put in the box? Brynneth Report post Posted January 12, 2018 Brilliantly dumb. I'd put £0.01?
Kryton Report post Posted January 12, 2018 (edited) I can't. The whole form is in round thousands (I'll be chasing rounding errors for hours) and won't accept decimals. Currently this has taken about 7 hours. Edited January 12, 2018 by Kryton

Nacey Report post Posted January 25, 2018 This is the legitimate verified Twitter account of our largest supplier of flowers. That is, a large business that makes a lot of money shipping flowers to people. Someone working at that company is running this Twitter account. That person is amazing. https://twitter.com/ArenaFlowers

Nacey Report post Posted January 25, 2018 I'm pretty sure the same person is responsible for some of the long-form articles on their website too:https://www.arenaflowers.com/flowers/valentines-day-flowers#giant-roses (Everything below the video.) Highlights include a section on how to trick your neighbour into kissing you by pretending to be in a movie with Angelina Jolie.
